The difference between Desay and Noname

There are two kinds of RCD330 PLUS（aka RCD340） 187B comes from two different manufacturer in marketplace.
One is Noname, the other one is Desay.
Desay head unit with Volks cars(Chinese Jetta（Sagitar），A-class car)
Noname head unit with Volks cars(Chinese Passat，B-class car)

1.The RCD330 plus from Noname manufacturer is better than Desay. Noname’s one supports firmware upgrade, you can upgrade it to your own language.

2.What’s more, Noname’s device is much more reliable than Desay.Sometimes Desay‘s stereo will down or restart automatically during the very cold winter or the very hot summer.

3.The most important thing is that Noname’s devices is capable for Android Auto(AA). You can mirror the screen of your Android phone (which version is higher than Android 5.0) to this head unit. In contrast, Desay doesn’t support this feature(just support Chinese Baiducarlife).

Noname RCD330 PLUS 187B has completely stopped production.
In the future, the head unit of perfect condition will be less and less, the price will rise, if you like it, buy it quickly, whether you buy it from me or not.
Volkswagen Passat 2019 has been produced on the MQB platform, no longer using RCD330 PLUS。
I can only get RCD330 PLUS from a few sales of Passat 2018 (PQ platform).
The RCD330 PLUS is the best head unit for cars on the VW PQ platform.

The head unit of perfect condition has been very difficult to get.

-AM 530-1600 KHz; FM 87.5-108 MHz
-AM channels: 531, 540, 549 kHz…. in 9 kHz steps, In North America and Japan can not tuned in cleanly AM stations. However there is few poeple listen to AM boardcast. In Australia and europe no problem; FM channels: 87.5, 87.6, 87.7MHz…. in 0.1MHz steps which works in all counties.
-Radio Plug Size Same As RCD510 RCD310 RNS510. Standard VW Quadlock Socket.
-NO CD Changer. Unable to Play CD/DVD.
-Supports Bluetooth, USB, AUX, SD card, OPS, Rear View AV NTSC Camera, not vw RGB camera.

Important notes:

– Radio supports steering wheel control,but only works with 12 button steering wheel;
– Doesn’t shown on dash maxi dot cluster;
– Doesn’t show skoda climate control.
– Car makes before 2009 maybe request a new gateway or need a Canbus adapter decoder simulatorto avoid battery drain;
-If your car has 8 button multi function steering wheel, you need to buy MFSW adapter, otherwise you can not control RCD330 plus.

By default the head unit is sent out with back-up camera function activated. If you need it deactivated please leave message when ordering.
Turn off the reversing camera function of the head unit without affecting the OPS (optical parking syste) function.
