Hi there. I installed the camera per the wiring diagram and everything seems to have installed correctly, but I noticed that the camera will stay flipped open long after taking it out of neutral. When I back into a parking space and put it in park, it takes a good 60 seconds for it to finally close. This can’t be normal, right? The only thing I don’t know if I did correctly is put the 2 fuses into the correct fusebox areas. One was labeled BAT and the other ACC. It wasn’t clear which row etc so I just plugged those in. Seemed to work fine though.

Hello, you need to confirm that your parking sensor is the original factory of Volkswagen. Usually the parking sensor in the aftermarket is not compatible with the clamshell camera. At this point, you have to give up the aftermarket parking sensor.
