Hello,
My CANBUS gateway version is 1K0 907 530S (golf 6 – 2008). Can you please tell me if I there is any battery draining problem with this version? Do I need another version of CANBUS if I install an RCD330 plus unit?

As long as you can confirm that your car is a golf6 not a golf5, your gateway has not commented on the drainage problem.
