Ok Having made a recent purchase of this vehicle i’d like to get some information on the head unit upgrade.
330 or 360. What is the difference?
In Dash notifications. Will these still be Active to Radio Stations etc / Volume.
Do i need to buy a CanBus to allow for steering wheel functions to work? Volume / Tracks / Stations selecting? Answering Phone call with steering wheel buttons?
OK Reversing Camera. The car has a factory Rear camera. How do i make this work?
As this is the wife’s car i need to get all of these things happening before i go ahead with a purchase of a new head unit. Hell will freeze over if i muck it up.

Hello. RCD330 is the original factory unit of Volkswagen, and 360 is a second modification based on the original factory unit. His control system and software system are forcibly written into the memory through the programmer. So it’s not as stable as the 330, and the 360 can’t update the firmware via USB.
The 330 has all the controls on the 6.5-inch screen and five buttons
For the multi -function steering wheel, as long as he is a Volkswagen produced after 2010, they all have a 12 -button multi -function steering wheel. This steering wheel can directly control RCD330Plus without buying any additional adapter.
Your original backup camera cannot work for RCD330Plus because it is in the RGB format, so it is recommended to use a new camera to replace the old camera, but I need to know that your car model and production year can be recommended for you.
