Hi,
This was the recommended unit, but the plugs don’t line up. Is there an adapter needed? Where do I plug in the backup camera?
I have can email a photo of the differences, but it looks like the new one has a fuse where the other has connectors. And the new one has fewer connectors.

For the 2017 jetta, the following adapter is required to install RCD330 plus.
If you have an original camera, it cannot work directly for RCD330 plus. Your original camera is called MIB2 PQ camera, it is in NTSC format, it has 4 wires inside the camera cable. The camera supported by RCD330 plus is in CVBS format. There are only two wires inside the cable. As of today, I don’t know which adapter can convert the camera format. Even if it can be converted, it will face the situation that the reversing image will become more unclear. And I believe the price of this adapter will not be lower than buying a new camera. Therefore, I recommend that you buy a new set of cameras, which have better resolution and support dynamic parking lines.
