Hi from Australia – Just have a few questions regarding this unit.
I have a 2012 Mk6 GTi with original RCD510 head unit +  VW MDI/USB and OEM badge flip RVC. I would like to keep RVC function without changing the camera itself. It is a lowline camera with just the yellow lines on the screen that don`t move. Is the converter all i need to get this working?
Main purpose of interest is carplay however interested to find out do all the steering wheel buttons work like they do now and is the phone book functionality and music controls still accessible through the cluster as normal?
Also are your prices USD or AUD?
Thank You

Hi friend.
If you have an OEM badge flip RVC and want it to continue to work for RCD330 plus, you need to purchase the following product, which can continue to retain your yellow static parking line. Every button of your MFSW can work for RCD330 plus, including you use the voice button on the steering wheel to call “Hi, siri” to activate your iPhone. You can use carplay and android auto.
The Bluetooth function of RCD330 plus is more powerful than RCD510 or RNS510, and the unit’s startup speed is also very fast. Unlike RCD510, when you start the engine and start to reverse, the image of RVC has not appeared yet after the reverse finish. By the way, if you have Bluetooth function and your Bluetooth module is under the passenger seat, you must find it and unplug it, otherwise it will interfere with RCD330 plus’s Bluetooth to answer calls.

Thank You. Does the instrument cluster information  (phonebook / phone controls) still operate as normal? Is there also a link to a video for installation of the Video converter available
How long does shipping take to Australia. Keen to purchase.
