QA QuestionsCategory: Head Unit QuestionRCD330 for my GTI 2011
Maxime asked 4 months ago

Hi,

I got a GTI 2011 (Canada) with the following features currently.

RNS510
DynAudio Package
No access to VCDS
No backup camera

I want Android Auto and a USB port routed in the console.

Am I right assuming that the NoName 187B + Refit Rear USB is the best option?

I understand you can precode it for my DynAudio if I ask for it but would everything else work as expected if I can’t access VCDS myself?

Would I need anything else for it to work perfectly?

Thanks!

Hi
Yes, Noname 187B + rear USB is your right choice. If you choose package A, the USB socket will be installed in the front of the gear. If you choose package B, you can install the USB socket in the central armrest box.

For the Dynaudio system of Golf GTI, I can change the encoding for you before shipment, so that the unit can work better for your Dynaudio sound system. You need to note that you have a Dynaudio sound system when placing an order,
If you don’t have a rear view camera, and you don’t plan to install a backup camera, I will change the coding for you to not activate the backup camera function.
If you plan to install a backup camera, the following Flip camera with dynamic parking line fits Golf GTI. I have improved the connector of this camera, and its installation is almost plug and play.
