will the rcd330+ replace the rcd500, do I need additional equipment or does it just plug and play? I have sterring hweel controls but they dont work with rcd500 unit, no bluetooth.

Hi.
If your car was produced before 2009, it will have battery drainage problems. If you have an 8-button multi-function steering wheel, it cannot directly control RCD330 plus. CANBUS simulator can solve the battery drainage problem as well as the 8-button The multi-function steering wheel control problem.
