1. If you can’t sure this radio can use for your car . please send us your original radio picture .I will tell you whether fit your car!
2. If your Car Model Before 2009 with 8 Buttons MFSW. It can not working with RCD330 plus, so you Need Buy CANBUS simulator adapter. All bottons will work and can solve battery drain. The solution of installing the CANBUS simulator can solve the battery drainage problem of more than 99% of Volkswagen models.
3. If your Car Model Before 2009 without any MFSW, You can replace gateway or use the CANBUS simulator to slove battery drain.
Replacing the gateway can 100% solve your battery drain problem.

6.If your car has a 12-buttons or 6-buttons MFSW, you can directly install the RCD330 Plus without any additional adapters or decoders or simulators. Plug and play, it has not battery drain problems.
7. If your original head unit is RCD510 or RNS315 or RNS510, you can directly replace them with RCD330 plus, plug and play, it has not battery drain problems.
8.If your original head unit is RCD510 or RNS315 or RNS510 with factory Rear View Camera, Your OEM camera cannot work for RCD330 plus because it is in RGB format, RCD330 PLUS only supports CVBS camera. For another solution, use RGB to CVBS adapter, I don’t recommend you to use this adapter, because its work is very unstable and often stops working, and the clarity of the reversing image is not as good as the new camera.

The positives first. The radio looks OEM and was easy to install. The apple car play work great. Steering wheel controls work.
The bad. The screen brightness at max level is very dim in the day time. Actually near unreadable.The unit did not detect my back camera. So had to purchase a hex v2 to activate this option. Figured the radio should have been set up from beginning.
Opinion: if you have limited electronic knowledge I suggest having someone put in another aftermarket radio. In retro spect I would have had a Kenwood installed by someone else. Overall service was fairly good and worked with me to try and solve these problems.
