How to install the ISO to quadlock adapter for RCD330G Plus
For some VW Polo and Jetta, the original unit is as shown in the picture below. The slot of RCD330G Plus cannot be directly connected to original plugs. Then the ISO to quadlock adapter needs to be installed.
For the Volkswagen produced after 2008, if the CANBUS cables is not connected, the head unit will can't communicate with the vehicle.
This will cause the following problems:
1. The head unit can't shut down automatically when you remove the car key.
2. There is no change in your head unit, when you reversing;
3. The multifunction steering wheel will not be able to control the head unit.
4. You can't set “56 radio” through VGA com.
**But there won't be battery drain issues.**
How to distinguish between PQ25 and PQ35/ 46.
1.Generally, the BCM of Volkswagen on PQ25 platform has only 2 plugs ，shell colors is "black" and "white", and the part number of BCM is "086 X" as the last number.
2.The BCM of Volkswagen on PQ35 / 46 platform has 3 plugs, shell colors is "black", "white" and "Brown".

FOR PQ35/46 CAR:

1. The first way is suitable for vehicles with gateways on PQ35/46 platform.
Or some high cost vehicles with gateways on PQ25 platform .
The gateway is locate above the accelerator pedal.
2.The second way is suitable for VW car without gateways.
