Partially unresponsive touchscreen

Hi,
My new Noname 187B has an unresponsive horizontal line of touchscreen about 2/3 of the way down. It's roughly inline with the keyboard line asdfghjkl (see screenshot) but it's unresponsive on every screen, not just the keyboard. Has anyone else experienced this? I've tried emailing DDren but after answering my first email they have since become unresponsive... :o/
