What camera?
I have a 2010 Jetta with the DESAY RCD330 6RD035187B. It came with the adapter to plug in a camera with a RCA-style connector. The car does not have a factory camera, but I want to add a camera.
I've tried several, but it will not show anything. I've reached out to the manufacturer but I keep getting the same response that it does not support RGB camera, all others will work except RGB.
When I put the car in reverse, the radio says "camera system is not currently available". I've read about some having to use VCDS to program. I'm not sure if I need to go that route, or if the cameras I'm installing just won't work with the radio.
Can anyone provide some guidance on which camera will work with my application? And if I have to use VCDS, how do I interface my computer to the car (what adapter is required)?
