No telephone sound when using wireless carplay

Hi all,
I've recently purchased a AutoSky wireless usb pro edition. Everything works great except for phone calls on Carplay. Stereo is a 187F, I've updated it to the latest firmware 5614. I've reset the settings to factory settings on the stereo and reconnected it all 10 times over in an attempt to fix it. Tried everything and not sure what to do next.
Has anyone experienced the same problem with the same or other usb wireless adapters? Any help will be gratefully recieved.
