Android Auto call echo issue can be solved when upgrading to FW 5624
Quote from mikmik16 on October 14, 2025, 9:35 pmHello guys, just to let you know that the Android Auto call echo issue can be solved by upgrading to FW 5624. I just got an RCD330 from Ddren that was on FW 5614 and experienced the echo issue, but after the upgrade it was gone. I made a lot of search to get information about how to solve the issue and found that no one clarified that FW 5624 can solve it. But now, I can confirm that 🙂.
I also experienced an issue that calls go silent when Google Maps voice speaks during a call. To solve that, you can go to Google Maps, then click on your Google Account icon (at the top right), then go to Settings>Navigation and toggle off "Play voice during phone calls" option. Now the voice will never speak during a call, and the call won't go silent anymore.
